I need my back cracked. I'll just leave that at that.

- It must be asshole season. I can't be bothered. If you wanna be an asshole, then be one. Bitchassness is a disease.
- I received screening passes to see It's Complicated starring Meryl Streep (shut it Rameer), Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. The problem is, the screening is the same night as my department's holiday dinner. Is it bad that I'd rather go to a movie than eat free food and spread holiday cheer with my coworkers? Think they'd miss me? Dagnabbit!
- Speaking of Steve Martin, there's an NFL coach that looks just like him - can't think of his name or the team right now though.
- And speaking of coworkers, some of mine pronounce "January" as "ja-noo-werry." I guess they feel that if it's spelled that way, then that's how you say it. Maybe I'm wrong...who knows.
- Work has been making me crazy since I've been back. I should have stayed home longer.
- Some people are "givers" - some are simply "takers." Which do you believe yourself to be?
- Vivica Foxx plays 50 Cent's crazy ex in his new video?...uh....maybe not too far fetched huh? :-)
- I LOVE the curried shrimp and corn bisque at Hale & Hearty! I could eat it everyday.
- Godiva Chocolate would be good right about now too :-)
- Did anyone hear about the lesbian teachers caught having sex in a school in NY? What is THAT about?
- I still haven't cashed Serena's check. I'm gonna do it soon, I promise! And if you haven't donated to her page yet, you have plenty of time! It's for a great cause.

- As I was leaving work last night, a guy in a red Jeep Cherokee rolled up next to me and asked me if I needed a taxi. When I told him no, he said he'd give me a good rate. Regular dude in a Jeep Cherokee, not a "car" or taxi cab. I think he was trying to kidnap me.
- Last night I had an IM chat for over an hour with someone I don't even know. They were in my buddy list, yet I don't remember how they got there. Good chat though :-)
- I need a Snuggie. I think that would make a good stocking stuffer :-)

-It's freezing outside! It might snow (again) on Sunday. Eagles and Giants baby! Gonna be a good one - I'm taking bets!

Happy Hump Day!
It was suggested to me that we do Random Thoughts Wednesday instead of Thursday since Thursday is Thanksgiving. So, if that's alright with y'all, let's get to it!
- I will probably still post something tomorrow, but not sure about Friday. I might be out shopping with Ma Dukes, but you all can feel free to chat amongst yourselves :-)
- My sister is re-doing her kitchen, so Thanksgiving dinner is still up in the air right now. Thanksgiving is about family, not food...so as long as I'm with them, I couldn't care less. But I will admit, I wanna eat something with some gravy on it tomorrow!
- I think I'm still in denial that winter is just around the corner. I hate the cold!
- Considering I hate the cold and winter, I picked the wrong university to attend! In 4 years, I never got used to Syracuse winters. I swear it used to snow sideways or from the ground up!
- My cheesecake was the shiznit...I have to make another one today.
- I might even try making a sweet potato pie...hmmmm....
- I'm starting to dread getting my wisdom tooth pulled next week :-( I've had an impacted one pulled before but I'm still skerred!
- I have alot of kids to shop for for the holidays...better get started.
- My mom is coming to NY for Xmas this year, I'm so excited about that! I will be putting my tree up soon after Thanksgiving so that I can savor the holiday spirit and celebrate with my mom :-)
- Was it me, or did Jermaine forget he was accepting an award for MICHAEL at the AMA's?
- STILL mad at "Jermajesty".....da hell?
- Holding Lil Miss Sophia made me want a baby...for a second. ;-)
- I wouldn't know what to do with a baby girl anyway. I feel like all I know are little boys. And y'all don't want me to have to do a little girl's hair...I barely do my own!
- If I swung that way, Amber Rose could get it I think. But not if she smokes.
- Nothing tastes better than a turkey sammich the day after Thanksgiving! If we don't get this kitchen situation figured out, can someone save me a plate!? Thanks!

"Start spreading the neeeewwwws....the Phillies SPANKED DAT ASS!"
Go Phillies! YEAAAAAHHHHH!!!
Woo...now that we got THAT out of the way... :-)
- I can't say it enough - Go see the Michael Jackson movie This Is It! I was transfixed from the moment he appeared on screen. I felt like I went to a concert last night! But more than that, I felt like I got to see a side of Michael that few are privy to. He was easy-going, yet a perfectionist, and commanded respect in the most humble way. The whole movie was a rehearsal, yet you felt like even with the lower production levels, dancers in sweats and MJ going through the motions that it was still something to behold. Like Rameer said, MJ was SICK. His 10% effort is another entertainer's 100%. I couldn't take my eyes off him - the entire audience was dancing and singing and cheering. I have to see it again...on IMAX!...and I have to take my nephew Kyce to see it. I'm sure it'll be an unforgettable experience that he'll cherish forever. I know I will. I still can't believe he's gone, but I feel like I got a chance to see him perform one more time in the days leading up to his passing. A must-see!...and make sure you stay past the credits!

Happy Random Thoughts Thursday!
How did it get to be October 22nd already?? Geesh! Oh! And Happy Birthday to my co-worker and friend Kimberly Williams! Kim, these two clips are for you!

I can watch that over and over again - his "Bank Head Bounce" was sick! I still can't believe he's gone. Happy Birthday Kim!
- Is it bad that I woke up thinking about lunch? I cooked my lunch this morning and I already don't want it. That's a shame.
- Everyone in my department has been talking SO LOUD this morning...or just plain yelling. It's like they ALL have a hearing problem or something. I wish I could get away with putting my earphones on so I can drown them out! Or just go, "Shhhhhhh!!!!!"
- My candy jar was practically overflowing on Monday, now the sh*t is almost empty. These damn people take like 3-4 pieces at a time...and come back like 3 times during the day. That's it, I'm locking it up. No more candy til they start puttin' a dollar on it or sumptin!
- This guy on the train told me I had a nice complexion. I told him he did too and he looked shocked! When I asked if no one had ever told him that before, he said, "No, because I'm dark skinned." Huh? I explained to him that having a nice complexion has nothing to do with light or dark. A nice complexion is one that is blemish free, even toned, smooth texture...that sorta thing. You'd think I just cracked the Davinci Code or explained the Pythagorean Theorem. He said I made his day. Our issues with being color-struck still amaze me sometimes.
- Also on the train last week, I sat next to an Asian woman who was speaking German to her friend. I had never heard an Asian person speaking German, so I asked her if that was her native tongue. She said yes, and also said she spoke 6 other languages. Her name? Svetlana Han. I thought that sh*t was HOT! I'd love to be able to say I speak THREE languages, let alone SEVEN!
- I listened to The Deele, Kevon Edmonds, Donny Hathaway, Brownstone, Corrine Bailey Rae and Brian McKnight on my iPod this morning. Can't wait to read DMoe's playlist today to see if his songs are on the iPod he downloaded for me. I've had it on shuffle since he gave it to me so I can be pleasantly surprised on my commute to work.
- Coach keeps tempting me with 25% off "special invitations." Mine ends Sunday...what will I do?? I'll behave...that's what.

- Please stop sending me Mafia Wars stuff on Facebook. I have no idea what it means or how to play. I wish I did, but I don't. Sorry!
- I literally spent an hour at work one day this week on the Witches Brew blog – I’m addicted!
- Read an article yesterday on the movie Precious – seems like it’s going to be a gut-wrenching film. I may attend a screening tonight - I hope my rsvp went through! In case you haven't seen the trailer:

Happy Random Thoughts Thursday!!
This week seems to be moving along quite quickly for me. I hope you all are having a great week and that it's going smoothly for you.
- Last night was the first night in WEEKS that I didn't come home and power up the laptop. Instead I made my lunch for today, took a nice hot shower, curled up in the bed and read a book until I fell asleep. Nice.
- Like everyone else has apparently done already, I'm reading Steve Harvey's book "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man." I didn't think he'd be saying anything I didn't already know and, with the exception of a few tidbits, so far that's true...but I can't put it down. He's funny, and telling the truth. Fast read. Thanks Liz!
- I miss my nephews. They've been asking for me all week and I may need to sneak down to Philly soon and do a drive by.
- I can't wait for the summer so we can go to the playground, the beach and do as much as we can outdoors. They keep me young..(er).
- I can't believe March is almost over.
- I'm feeling an itch to braid my hair since I did the "Can I Touch It?" blog. Soon.
- I think I say this every Thursday, but I REALLY need a vacation!
- I tried making this beef and peas dish my sister usually makes last night. I hope it turned out okay, because I'm going to eat it regardless.
- I OD'd on yogurt at Waldbaums. Strawberry Dannon with the fruit on the bottom. I like Breyers too...Yum!
- Edy's Fruit Bars...love them!
- I fell off the wagon again and picked up two cases of Snapple at the supermarket. They were on sale for $5.99...and I noticed when I got home and read the receipt that the cashier forgot to ring them up. Oh well...Sweet!
- I love soft layering tees from the Gap or Old Navy...in bright colors! They keep sending me coupons...tempting me.
- So sad about Natasha Richardson. Be careful...and wear a helmet when skiing, biking, whatever.
- I'm still loving this Ne-Yo cd Rameer. I need more music...any suggestions?
- Someone remind me to pay my cell phone bill :-)
- I need to set up automatic payments for all these bills I pay online - I thought someone would have suggested that by now :-) I don't trust it for some reason though, I feel like I need to do it myself.
- Anyone hear about the girl from Project Runway who threw a cat at her fiance during a fight? She threw the cat at him. Buffoonery.
- I didn't get enough sleep because I got up early to work out with Serena (in spirit), but I feel good that I got it out the way. Thanks Serena!

It's Random Thoughts Thursday!!!
I'm going to see Watchmen tonight!!! I've avoided Dre, Rameer and Ant long enough for them NOT to tell me about the movie, except to say that it was great. I'm looking forward to it! Some of you have told me that you've never seen the trailer - which is a shocker to me! But if you've been living under a rock, here it is! (you can skip the commentary at the end if you want)
Now...thoughts:
- I feel another cold coming on.
- I'm getting my taxes done on Sunday, finally!
- Liz is going with me, trying out my tax guy - so I hope he hooks her up!
- I like the earrings I have on today.
- Last night, I saw a woman on the train dipping Doritos in cheesecake and eating them. I love Doritos and cheesecake...just not together...YUK!
- My Ne-Yo cd's are in the mail, thanks Rameer!
- Salad again for lunch...maybe some soup too.
- The trainer David at NYSC is stalking me.
- I have to go to the bank so I can get $100 in singles to give to my nephew :)
- I can't wait to see my family this weekend!
- My cell phone is too slippery, I'm constantly dropping it.
- I'm looking forward to spring time. It's supposed to be close to 60 degrees this weekend!
- I need another manicure, but my pedicure (that I did myself) is still going strong!
- Somebody remind me to pay my car insurance online today :)
- I want to read a really good book....on the beach :)
- Did I mention I was going to see Watchmen tonight? ;-)

Okay, so here we go...
- NY Post cartoon yesterday - the WACKNESS. Focusing on the positive instead of giving this type of "satire" anymore shine - The DOPENESS.
- I love the picture that Kyce drew for me. He asked me to hang it up at work, and now when I see it first thing in the morning it makes me smile :-)
- I got a lot of Valentine's Day texts this past Saturday....no one calls anyone anymore.
- I really need to get my knees operated on.
- I'm really looking forward to my birthday dinner and festivities - I think 36 will look really good on me :-)
- Kyce is still selling Yankee Candles :-)
- If you haven't signed up on Honey Mag's site yet, you still can...jus sayin ;-)
- I've been trying to drink seltzer water flavored with lemon or lime, and all I wanna do is put sugar in it. It'll take some time :-)
- I was told that "f*ckery" is a word a lot of Jamaicans use...thanks Ms. Patra-son (as Princess likes to call her) I find that I say that a lot lately :-)
- I'm still looking for a reason to call someone "Uncle Crook Nuff" LOL!
- Facebook has reconnected me with so many old friends and family that I grew up with...amazing.
- I miss Left Eye.
