Happy Friday! And Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!

In honor of Mother's Day, and this trailer from Jada Pinkett Smith, I'd like to pose this question: What is the greatest lesson you've learned from your mother? It may not be just one thing, so name them all if you want :-)

Go!

How to love, apologize and ask for forgiveness. 3 VERY important lessons in life I still don't think I've mastered yet in my 31 years! But I'm working on it. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers, soon-to-be moms and those who fit the description without the incision (smile)!

My mom taught me how selfless motherhood is. She taught me how to love someone else more than myself & how you always put them first.

My mother taught me how to be a lady, even though I know I don't always act like one. I have my moments - but I know how to walk, how to dress, cross my legs, be polite and not curse out everyone I see...even when I want to.

Happy Mothers Day all my mommies! Viola taught me how to read, write, speak properly, my times tables(lol) how to iron and wash my clothes, love nature understand that I'm a strong BLACKMAN no matter what ANYONE tried to take. But most of all she taught me the bible and to learn to have a relationship with God.

My mother taught me to be a proud Black man, take care of my responsibilities, own up to my mistakes and to hold my self accountable for my decisions. She also showed me how to accept love, even when I didn't think I deserved it. Those are the same lessons I try to pass on to my children.

My mother continues to teach me how to be independent, selfless and patient. Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers (be you biological or moms in spirit) here in Brooke's blog family!

Happy Mother's Day to my mommies out there and those who have children in their lives and have motherly spirits!

Mommy taught me a lot, but I'll never forget how she taught me to love and pray for people. She told me about being selfless and my God I thought I knew what that was until Jordan got here :)

She taught me about self respect, how to love myself, take chances and risks and to be creative. She too like John stated...she taught me about God and spirituality. I miss her and know she is still teaching me lessons from above.
